Jesse Casto

Jesse is the owner of BetterCNC, a CNC machine shop in Garland, TX, which he founded in January of 2021. From the moment of first contact with BetterCNC through shipping and beyond, Jesse and his team want to provide a better experience. Jesse is passionate about his work, having been raised to be a hard worker that never settles. One of his main goals in life is to learn everything he possibly can.
Joe Estefane

As Engineering Tech Lead at Shapeways, Joseph possesses an extensive technical background in a wide array of software and frameworks covering the full technology stack. His current focus is on orchestrating the planning, development, and seamless integration of advanced AI solutions into user experiences. Prior to his 4 year tenure at Shapeways, he gained invaluable experience in the Ed Tech and Ad Tech sectors.
Dave Fustino

Dave is a Boston-based product design and strategy consultant with extensive knowledge in various design, prototyping, and manufacturing processes. With over 10 awarded patents and over 10 million products manufactured and globally distributed, his experience is far-reaching. Dave has designed for brands that include Bose, Keurig, and Philips, and now runs his own design and consulting firm helping innovators envision, develop, and manufacture commercially viable products. He now owns ETHO Design, a sustainable design and strategy firm.
Amanda Harrell

Amanda joined Shapeways in June 2022 and is the GM of eCommerce Services and VP of Marketing. She brings nearly 30 years of strategic and analytical marketing experience within the manufacturing, life sciences, healthcare and financial services markets. Amanda has served in numerous marketing and business senior leadership roles at Invicro, GENEWIZ, Cigna Healthcare, De Lage Landen Financial Services, Fifth Third Bank and Ford Motor Company.
Larry Holmes

Mr. Larry (LJ) R. Holmes, Jr. is an Executive Director focused on Research and Engineering at Harrisburg University of Science and Technology, where he leads the development and operation of an Advanced Manufacturing Research Institute. The mission of this academic institute is to create an interdisciplinary forum for bringing materials, processing, and manufacturing together by digital design and innovative manufacturing methods. Mr. Holmes left federal service in 2018 after 15 years at the U.S. Army Research Laboratory (ARL). His final posting at ARL was the Director of Research Partnerships and Communication for the ARL Center for Agile Materials Manufacturing Science (CAMMS). He was also the lead for ARL’s Hybrid Manufacturing research portfolio, including the management of materials and manufacturing science programs related to multi-material processing technologies for functional/multi-functional devices.
Mr. Holmes is also the Director of Government Relations at nScrypt, Inc. in Orlando, FL. nScrypt designs and manufactures high-precision micro-dispensing and direct digital manufacturing equipment with unmatched accuracy and flexibility. Mr. Holmes is also the Chief of Manufacturing at the Applied Science and Research Organization of America (ASTRO America). ASTRO America is a non-profit, non-partisan research institute and think tank dedicated to advancing public interest through manufacturing and technology. In all of his endeavors, Mr. Holmes is focused on education and transition of novel manufacturing technologies.
Davis Latham

Davis Latham is the Vice President of CADmore, an industry-leading engineering and product development company that has completed over 30,000 projects for global giants like Honeywell, SpaceX, Toyota, and more. In his role, Davis oversees strategic and operational activities, focusing on collaboration between customers and designers to ensure alignment with client needs. His leadership extends to driving business growth, managing cross-functional initiatives, and future-proofing operations through innovative strategies.
Gregory Kress

Gregory Kress has been Shapeways’ Chief Executive Officer and a member of Shapeways’ Board since January 2018. From 2014 to 2017, Mr. Kress served as Chief Operating Officer then President at Open English, an online education platform. Prior to that, he was a member of the corporate leadership staff at GE, where he held a series of roles in global commercial operations and supply chain management as well as environmental health and safety. Mr. Kress’ background as an innovative and results-driven leader with experience in large and mid-size organizations brings substantial operating experience to the Company Board. Mr. Kress earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University.
Adam Kjar

Adam is the Owner & CEO of Custom Tooling & Fabrication LLC (CT&F). Adam and his amazing team are adding new technologies and machines to enable CT&F to grow to new heights and to amass even more market share in the exciting space of CNC machining. Prior to becoming the owner of CT&F, he was a Co-Owner and Chief Operations & Acquisitions Officer at AutoSource Motors. While at AutoSource, he was actively involved in sourcing, process/procedure creation and optimization, and strategy for future growth. He was instrumental at AutoSource in expanding their retail and operational footprint from one Utah store location producing $3M in annual revenue to ten store locations across six states–producing over $375M in annual revenue.
Adam is happily married to his best friend, Haley. They have five beautiful children together, and reside in Kaysville, UT.
Staci Matt

Staci Matt is the Director of Product Marketing at Shapeways, focused on building the MFG software brand. She has a decade of experience in software marketing, and joined the Shapeways/MFG team in 2022. She holds an MBA from Boston University.
Thomas Murphy

Thomas Murphy joined the Canadian Army in 2002 as a Royal Canadian Electrical and Mechanical Engineer Officer. He attended the Royal Military College of Canada and graduated with a BSc in Chemistry. He deployed to Afghanistan in 2010 with the Maintenance Company of the National Support Element. In 2013 Thomas was given an Exchange position with the US Army at Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC) at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ within the Advanced Materials Technology Branch. During this three-year position he was responsible for R&D of Additive Manufacturing (AM). After finding a passion for AM, Thomas retired from the Canadian Army and moved into the private sector. In 2017, he began his role with Cimquest as the Lead 3D Printing Technologist investigating new technologies and managing a service bureau. During this time Cimquest expanded partnerships that included HP, Desktop Metal, Formlabs, Rize and MCor. In 2019, Thomas moved to his current role as Senior Product Manager, Physical Products at Shapeways where he manages the material portfolio for its global customer base.
Aidan O’Sullivan

Aidan is the General Manager of Enterprise at Shapeways. He has over 15 years of experience in driving and delivering improved efficiencies within operations and sales teams. With nearly 8 years at Shapeways, Aidan is highly knowledgeable about additive manufacturing and the broader digital manufacturing industry–including the trends that continue to shape the industry. He also leads M&A strategy for the Enterprise business, as the company seeks to further hone its suite of enterprise manufacturing services. Prior to joining Shapeways in 2016, Aidan worked for Kerry Group across both Europe and the U.S. in a variety of operations roles. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Trinity College Dublin, and an MBA from NYU.
Ajay Raina

Ajay Raina is the Senior Vice President of Technology at Shapeways where he leads the technology organization with responsibilities for the SaaS portfolio, digital platform for manufacturing, cloud infrastructure, and IT. Ajay is also driving the adoption of generative AI at Shapeways.
Sara Schreur

Sara Schreur is the Associate Director of Enterprise Marketing at Shapeways. She has 14 years of B2B & B2C marketing and product experience in the manufacturing and technology sectors. Prior to joining Shapeways, Sara worked most recently for Wayfair as a category and vendor strategy lead. She holds a MS in Integrated Marketing Communications from Northwestern University.
Harold Sears

Harold brings over 36 years of experience in the automotive industry with 32 years at Ford. His time at Ford included 29 years in additive manufacturing. Harold retired from Ford in December 2022. He previously held the role of Technical Leader and Manager of Ford’s Additive Manufacturing Technologies and is the founder of Imagine Additive Consulting. Harold has a proven capability to develop and implement additive manufacturing processes that leverage state-of-the-art technologies for the production of commercial parts and prototypes. He was the recipient of a Henry Ford Technology Award in 2010 for the development of an innovative process that uses 3D printing to manufacture sheet metal stamping tooling. In 2015, Harold was a recipient of the Additive Manufacturing Users Group’s Distinguished Innovator Operator (DINO) award for additive manufacturing expertise and contributions to the industry.
Shannon VanDeren

Shannon has led her company, Layered Manufacturing and Consulting, as an AM enthusiast and evangelist, and continues to create impact by identifying applications for innovation, ideation, cost savings, throughput, and manufacturing efficiencies. She has led the AMUG Medical Track for the past 8 years and was recognized by our peers with the Distinguished Innovator Operator (DINO) Award in 2017.
John Tenbusch

John Tenbusch is the Director of Sales at Linear AMS, part of Shapeways since 2022. In 2003, John founded Linear Mold and Engineering, and with over 30 years of experience in the tooling and molding industry, he has consistently demonstrated a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and an unwavering commitment to pushing the boundaries of what's possible. As an early adopter of Direct Metal Laser Melting (DMLM) printing technology, he foresaw the game-changing impact it could have on the industry. One of John's most significant achievements at Linear was harnessing DMLM printing for 3D printing mold inserts with conformal cooling. As an integral part of the Shapeways team following the acquisition of Linear AMS, John remains dedicated to discovering innovative ways to revolutionize the manufacturing sector.
David Tucker

David is a product/service developer with an expertise in new technology adoption. He has introduced new production methods and materials in the Passenger Vehicle, Commercial Vehicle, and High-Tech Verticals. David's focus is two-fold: to make higher value products, and products that are easily manufactured. Additionally, he’s worked in the Additive Manufacturing industry developing go to market strategies to enable sales growth by productizing new additive manufacturing capabilities and introducing new sales channels. David has a double BS in Product Design and Plastics Engineering Technology from Ferris State University, an operations focused MBA from Wayne State University, and an MS in Technology Management from Portland State University.
Bruce Werner

Bruce Werner has more than 20 years sales and marketing leadership experience in several industries. He is currently the Vice President of Commercial Operations at Shapeways.
